Lynn/Peavy for Fielder/J. Johnson? WHIR!!!

Hi,

Sorry I don't have time to load full details of how this affects my team, etc., as I need kind of a quick answer. Basically, I need hitting and have a TON of pitching to deal. Is it an equal trade to GIVE Peavy and Lynn FOR Fielder and Jim Johnson (Bal Closer).

I am just interested specifically in the overall fairness of the proposal. I know that I need hitting and have a ton of pitching to deal; I am just considering what starting pitchers provide an equal value to the players being returned. Am I giving enough? Should I substitute another guy instead of who is currently involved? Will I need to give more to get an elite hitter like Prince?

My pitchers are: Kershaw, King Felix, Beachy, Latos, Peavy, Lynn, Johan, J. McDonald, Capuano, Kimbrel, Chapman, Street

Is there a better combo of SPs I can offer for the two players in return? (I am also trying to predict who will fall off, step it up, etc., when considering who I want to keep/deal. Opinions on that are appreciated also.)

He wants Reddick with these 2 pitchers also. I don't need him as I'll move Craig to OF and put Prince at OF. Too much?

So Reddick/Lynn/Peavy for Fielder/J. Johnson? Love it for you, especially seeing your pitching staff and your need for offense.

Depending on your league set-up, you might then also be in a spot to trade a closer for some help somewhere else.

I'd take a crack at backing him down to Latos if you can, instead of Peavy.

But other than that, its not a bad deal at all for you.

Yeah, I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger on this one. I still don't trust Peavy, so I'm not real concerned about giving him up. Even if he stays healthy, your pitching can certainly absorb the loss.

Help me out?
