I recently put Maybin on the block and an owner offered me Tommy Hanson. Sounds good, but here's the catch: 10 players can be kept, but for a maximum of 3 times and Hanson is on his last year (so I'd lose him after this year). On the other hand, Maybin has only been kept once (so he can be kept 2 more times).
I'm in 5th place despite what looks like a solid team in a 16-team league. My pitching has been much worse than forecasted (except Capuano & Paulino). Still, if Waino, Lee, and Sabathia turn it around I could make some noise as Crawford, Howard, and Longo return. I'd prefer a closer to Hanson - but maybe I can move Hanson for one later since lower-tier closers aren't kept too often anyway.
So what do you think - should I trade him in this deal or should I hold our for a guy I can keep or at least a closer? So far, my attempts at packaging Kendrick + Maybin or Arencibia + Maybin haven't yielded any results.
WHIR!!!
