He is on the waiver wire and Youk has been absolutely terrible all year, whether healthy or not. At this point he is on my bench but he is a known name and will probably be snatched up by some team in the league. I have tried hard and received basically no trade partner for him so it's all about who could provide a boost to my team in the coming months.

I couldn't just outright drop Youk. Not yet at least.

How deep a league? In a deep league, no. In a shallow league, yes. I think Roberts has potential high ceiling but is more likely than Youk to end up back on the DL (but not by much).
Help with mine:

Definitely not. Roberts has played all of one game. Sure he was 3 for 4 but he's just a shadow of the player he used to be. I give the over/under on 15 games before he's back on the DL

Roberts has concussion issues that rival Morneaus. You don't know how long he'll play. On top of that, he hasn't been spectacular his last few seasons. Youk has far more bounce-back potential than Roberts.

I agree with the rest. Keep Youk. He will bounce back. Roberts is too much of a risk.
