Trade RA Dickey while his value is up?

I have RA Dickey, picked him up from the FA pool earlier this season and hes been great so far.
Should I try trading him while his value is high or should I just keep him?

Roy Halladay (DL)
Ryan Dempster
Tom Hanson
Edinson Volquez (will probably cut)
Josh Beckett
James Shields
Carlos Zambrano

Would this be a good idea or should I just hold on to him?

It's not a great group without Halladay, and Dickey is helping your staff stay aloft, but if you can get any kind of greater value for Dickey I would do it. The staff will survive (even if not beautifully) without him and you may be able to get someone of greater perceived worth. You could always flip that new player for someone else at a later time if needed. Right now, I'm not sure how much people are clamoring for Dickey.

I dropped him earlier in the season, meaning to pick him up again and another team picked him up and I'm kicking myself right now. I'd probably pay a good amount for Dickey with his numbers. You could probably sell him for someone more solid that would help your staff, although his numbers don't exactly point to a regression. His stuff is pretty sharp right now, and it might make more sense to wait it out and enjoy the ride he gives you. All signs point to him having a good season, so if I were you I'd probably hold onto him and see where he takes you.

I wouldn't try to aggressively move him, but if you can get a good deal, go for it. It'll be a lot more illuminating if you suggested a few trades you were considering.
