Trades to upgrade 1B or SP

Postby jat5304 » Tue Jun 12, 2012 2:26 am

So, I would like to try to upgrade at 1B by trading for one of the top players. I am hoping to trade Butler and 1-2 pitchers, hopefully not Price, Sale, or Chapman. What do you think are some deals I could try to make? Also, what do you think it would take to try and get a top of the line starter like Felix or Kershaw? Info is below

16-team dynasty league,14 categories: R, HR, RBI, SB, BB, K, AVG; W, L, SV, K, HLD, ERA, WHIP, the league type is H2H one-win.
Roster:

1B – Billy Butler
2B - Jose Altuve

BN – Erick Aybar
DL – Evan Longoria
Ramon Hernandez
Mat Gamel

In a dynasty, Butler+Trout should easily get you a top tier 1B.

If you're set on trading Butler and a pitcher, Butler+Price might get it done. Most owners won't fall for the old quantity over quality offer, so I have a hard time seeing someone let Joey Votto go for, say, Butler/Latos/Nova.
