Yes. Non-keeper takes a lot of the risk away. So you are trading away a guy who likely will regress for a guy that has huge upside. Maybe it doesn't work out but I can't see that losing LaHair is going to effect your team all that much but if Linc can turn things around then it could put your team into the title race. Excellent sell high buy low kind of move.

Hard for me to give an opinion without knowing what your category needs are and what your roster looks like. In this vacuum though, I agree that Lincecum offers a lot of upside as compared to LaHair.
