Postby speeds102 » Sun Jun 10, 2012 9:26 pm

I give Miguel Cabrera, Starling, Hanson for his Tulo, Panda, and Gallardo. Who benefits most here? Thanks in advance.

My team (only batters):

C: M. Montero
1B: Votto
2B: Pedroia
SS: Castro
3B: Cabrera
OF: Harper, Choo, Ethier
Util: Lawrie
Bench: Trout, Kipnis, Cespenes, Morse

His team:

C: Wieters
1B: Morneau
2B: Young]
3B: ARam
SS: Desmond
OF: Stanton, Granderson, Victorino
Util: Phillips
Bench: Zimmerman, Panda, Willingham
DL: Tulo
Dwight Schrute: Michael, you forgot to mention the herpes.
Michael Scott: It didn't come out organically.

I would suggest trading him Votto and Harper (if he'll buy high and trying to get something that way. That way you could move Miggy to 1st, Lawrie to 3rd, Kipnis into your Util spot, and Trout into your outfield. In small lineup leagues like this one you need to try to condense talent, and I don't think you're doing that with this trade.

Not to mention Choo should be on your bench for Trout, and Lawrie on your bench for Kipnis.

Overall though, no to this trade for me.

Help with mine?

I wouldn't. Miggy is the best player in the deal by far in my opinion. I think you could get more.

Put me in the "no" camp as well. No need to elaborate much further given the answers you've gotten. If I were targeting anything to help your team, it would be a stud outfielder.
