Hey Everybody, I have a lot of good, young pitchers but really need an outfielder. would you do this trade, kershaw for harper? i always valued hitters over pitchers. even though kershaw is the best keeper pitcher in my opinion he does have plantar fasciatus which might be a long term injury. Good keeper trade? We keep a lot of players for as long as we want so roster space shouldn't be an issue. I'll answer your advice questions too. Thanks!

I agree 100% with kidsilk. You need to get a top 20 hitter for Kershaw.
Help?

MaudDib wrote:Not Keshaw. Or at least not straight up for Harper. It is going to be really hard to get Harper because of how your league is setup but I think you are buying Harper at too high of a price right now. Maybe see if you can get another quality player in the deal. If not then look to trade one of your other young arms for Harper.
Yup.

I agree with everyone, don't give up Kershaw for Harper. Kershaw will be a top-20 fantasy player (at the very least) for the next 6+ seasons. Harper probably won't be there for the next few seasons. Eventually Harper will probably be better than Kershaw, but that's several years down the road and even at that point, the value difference will be minimal.
Help with mine?

Not a chance. At least ask for a pitcher back with some upside like Beachy/Morrow/Teheran/wworley
The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be!
