Been offered HIS CarGo(43) and Billy Butler(22) for my McCutchen(34) and Hosmer(2).
Which side would you rather have now and in the future?
At 3-7 and in 12th place I think you should take the trade and lock in Hosmer for $2 this is a great deal for you for the future. And if Hosmer starts playing up to his pontential this could be a better deal for the rest of the season as well.
If you think you can make a good push then I would pony up for Cargo and Butler. But I do think Hosmer will be good down the stretch and comes at a nice price there.
I am convinced that Hosmer is a star in the making, so I would stick where you are. Yes, CarGo is the best player in the deal, but I'd rather have McCutch + Hosmer for 36 than CarGo + Butler for 65... that's a 29 dollar player that you can fill in with right there!
If you were in the race this year, I'd tell you to forget about the future and do it, but given that you're out of the race, I'd stay away from this deal.
Stick where you are, looks not to be your season.....in Auction Leagues" Value is where its at, and having Hosmer @ $2, is a steal......you will see in 2013 2014 2015 and beyond. Cargo maybe the best player in this deal but Cutch isn't to far behind him. PLUS Cargo is almost $10 more.
Stay put, you will see next season why, and probably late this season. Hosmer just lost his 11 game hit streak today against the Buccos.
