I am in a Points League. Over the last couple weeks I have had some serious DL candidates. Pablo- Austin Jackson etc. In there place I worked the line-up a bit to squeeze in 2 catchers and moved players around so that AJ Pierzynski was catching and Jarrod Saltlamacchia was a Utility .With both of them - My numbers have increased a bit by adding power to my line up as well as hits etc.
My lineup is :
C- AJ Pierzynski 1b- Pablo 2b- Pedroia SS- Jeter 3b- A Ramirez CI - Carlos Santana MI - Escobar OF - Braun OF - Maybin OF Trout Utility - Saltamacchia -
Bench- Howie kendrick
Dl - Austin. jackson
Runs are worth 2 - Hits are worth 1 Homeruns are worth 5 doubles worth 2 triples worth 4
Austin will not be listed on DL come tomorrow which means someone has to go. I like both catchers and am thinking of dropping Kendrick ? Any thoughts would help
Thanks

In a single catcher league, you NEVER start two catchers on a regular basis. If you like both catchers (and the rest of the league feels that way about them), trade one. I usually do not even carry a backup catcher (sometimes I do). In this case, one of the catchers (AJ) has to go.
