I was just offered this trade.Have Casilla/Frieri/Soriano as closers, so more dependent on if Addison Reed is the RP that can help me in the ERA/WHIP category.Or if Pagans value would be better served for me in a 2 for 1 bat upgrade situation?

Definitely pull the trigger on this deal. Your SP depth isn't crazy nor are your closers guarantees but this will improve it.

I am fine with that deal. Reed is pretty good and I can't see Pagan being all that useful.

Really the decision for me is if the value of Addison Reed on my team is more than a potential return Angel Pagan may get for me elsewhere. 8 teams make the playoffs, so it's as much sustaining now vs setting up for the final push.
