he did have a HR in last nights game too, but other than that last I read he hadn't been the same since coming back from being away. it's a 16 team keeper league where I started OF of Adam Jones/Quentin/Brantley/Blanco with Chris Davis at UT.

news on Billy Butler. he started his 4th game tonight at 1B, and should start his 5th game at 1B tomorrow. that would guarantee him 1B eligibility in yahoo for next season.

Alright. I misinterpreted. Still, profanity isn't typically tolerated and I can't say I blame 'em. It's a ways off from Clay Buttholes, which is also on the maturity level of a 12 year old, but still makes me laugh.

I think both are on the same level, and that one makes you laugh, while you just dont like the other, doesnt make any difference.
And say that you don't understand english humor, it doesn't mean it's bad or worse in any way than any other kind of humor that you like.
An average 12 year old can not come up with a thing like this.
If any of this kind of humor makes you laugh it's either not on the maturity level of a 12 year old, or every one of them (half of the world likes Eddie Murphy) are on the maturity level of a 12 year old, which is not likely.
Profanity can be used to be funny, or at least to attampt to be funny, while no one is offended.
You mentioned that profanity is not tolerated, but "effing', and FU pics are allowed here while everybody knows what they mean.

combined no hitter tonight for the Seattle Mariners over the Dodgers. Kevin Millwood started the game, but only went 6 innings. how many pitchers were in tonight's combined no hitter? SIX. Millwood, Furbush. Pryor, Luetge, League, Wilhelmsen.

when was the last time there was a combined no hitter period? has there ever been on with SIX pitchers used?

Paul Goldschmidt is on fire. What are people's thoughts on him going forward? He's still in a mini-platoon with Overbay, but it's tilted way in his favor now. He's playing at least 5 out of every 6 games it seems. His power is legit. What kind of ceiling does this kid have?

IIRC it was either the Astros or Yankees, from back in the 2000ish era.

LOL Overbay? That's about the shortest roadblock there is for full-time 1B play. I haven't seen all that much from him, but he seems like he has Adam Dunn upside. Plus he is on a good, young lineup. I think he can become a top 1/3 starting 1B.

so please explain whats the difference between the Figgins one and these, so that one is unacceptable while the others are ok, and why Buttholez for Buchholz is acceptable, so we who really don't wanna break any rules, can avoid these mistakes in the future.
