one of his qualities is that hes a superb feilder...at SS!! im guessing 27 errors at third? ...its thome playing third at the AS game all over again
He hits really good! well, the Ballpark in Arlington is THE BEST hitting park, altho yankees stadium is no pitcher's paradise
because of being in the 04 yanks lineup, which is arguably the best lineup ever, his #s will be highly diluted, and every other yankee's will be as well

Their stats will be diluted? What do you mean by that? You said yourself it's one of the best teams ever. How will being on a much better team hurt his stats? More guys on base to hit in, and better hitters behind him as protection and to hit him in. I don't see the problem........
And unless errors are a stat in your league, who cares how he is on defense? It's not like the Yanks will bench him if he bobbles a few balls.

Playing 3rd is less pressure than playing SS, you get less chances at 3rd. Arod can concentrate more on hitting now and that is scary. He can't hit HR's every game.

I' don't think he is over rated as long as he is SS eligible. 3B only helps his value.
I think when he loses SS eligibility you might ask that question, but he is still solidly the first pick. Even though I'm a huge Pujols fan I couldn't pass up A-Rod..
