Anibal Sanchez for Alex Rios

I'm a fantasy baseball newbie as this is only my second year in my league. I'm currently in the middle of the pack of a 12 man league, but I'm really light offensively - especially in the outfield. My current OF includes: Reddick, Maybin, Schaefer, Soriano, and Span. My current SP includes: Felix Hernandez, Wandy Rodriguez, Anibal Sanchez, Barry Zito, Joe Saunders, Lance Lynn, Mat Latos, and Jeff Samardzija.

I have a chance to trade Anibal for Alex Rios. On paper this seems pretty fair, and could really hope boost my outfield... any thoughts?

I don't like it. Anibal is has been really good so far. The only thing he isn't doing is giving you wins but 72 K's in 73 innings vs 18 BB is a stud pitcher. Maybe he doesn't keep this up but I would bet more on him keeping this up than Rios sustaining his numbers. Rios on the other hand, you don't know what you are going to get. Maybe he puts up a 2010 season of 20 HR 30 SB or maybe he puts up last years numbers of 10/10. Too much inconsistency to pay much for Rios and you should be able to get a much better OF for Anibal.
