Trade Advice (Braun, Upton)

Hey Guys,

Here's the potential trade:

I give up:

Justin Upton, Brandon Beachy

I get:

Ryan Braun

Couple things to consider: It's a 10-team, head-to-head league. It's a salary cap, keeper league. Cap is $300. Upton is currently $31 thru 2014, Beachy is $6 thru 2013 and Braun is $40, restricted contract ending this year. We have a restricted draft before our regular free agent draft every season to determine values. Braun will probably range from $40-$50 next season.

Also, here are my current OF's, Utilities and SPs:

OFs - Beltran, Chris Young, Austin Jackson, Alfonso Soriano.
U - Rollins, A Laroche, Allen Craig

SPs - Grienke, Haren, Zimmermann, D Hudson, Dempster, J Garcia, Hammel, AJ Burnett, J McDonald, B Colon

I have a lot of depth at SP so I'm thinking Beachy is expendable. And I do believe he is a sell-high candidate based on his low BABIP and low strikeout %.

I don't like parting with Upton because I am really high on him but he could be looking like a bit of a bust this year, especially with this nagging thumb injury.

Since this could be a very big trade for my season, I would appreciate any input.
