Konerko for Kershaw? WHIR

Postby brianrapp » Tue Jun 05, 2012 5:56 pm

I've been offered Kershaw for Konerko.. he's absolutely desperate for hitting so I'm almost sure I can also get him to send James McDonald in exchange for Garcia or JJ ( he hates dempster). Please reference the straight up scenario as well as The Mcdonald possibility. THANKS! P.S. Also remember that with gonzo OF eligibility I can shuffle around so, not like Aramis just warms the bench.

I wouldn't, your pitching is solid your hitting isnt on the same level, I dunno if I would sacrifice his bat for something you don't really need, although Kerahaw is a stud.

Do it and when Kershaw starts pitching like a CY Young, you can move him for more. ;-D

I think it would help you to do the deal. You have plenty of hitting, and could use a bit more dependability in your pitching staff. And I personally would try the 2 for 2 with JJ in the deal, as he is underperforming even while healthy (if he even is, in fact, entirely healthy). Would be a great deal for you.

Gotta do this deal no matter where it leaves you. Kershaw is worth it.
