I currently have Adam Kennedy at 2b and am a little light in the SB category. Is this kid worth taking a flyer on? He is tearing it up in spring and Kennedy is no world beater. Lemme know
I'd keep Kennedy as your starter for now (and not just because Harris doesn't qualify at 2B yet) but if you have somebody you don't need that you can drop to get Harris and stash him on your bench, it might be a good idea. He's learned to hit, and Ozzie has said he's committed to make him into a great player, because the team relies on him (Ozzie's words, not mine). If he gets on base a lot, he could be a dark horse to lead the league in SB's. He's leading off for a very powerful lineup - Maggs, Big Hurt, Carlos Lee, Konerko, and Valentin - and should score plenty of runs. All he has to do is get on base. If he does, watch out.

But Harris is their leadoff man and 2B, so I wouldn't worry too much. It sounds like they want him to succeed, and Uribe is only in there to face the lefty - even though the Royals' entire rotation is pretty much lefties. But they only mentioned Uribe starting against Anderson. Harris won't qualify at 2B for about 3 weeks anyway, so this shouldn't be a concern.

Harris will platoon vs Uribe, w Harris seeing the right handers n the platoon, so that means 75% of the AB's. he is unproven & Guillen is trying to mold him into an AL Juan Pierre, We will have to see if it works, Id wait a lil but, but if you see him producing jump on him
