16 team, 5 keeper league

So I'm planning on moving Pierzynski for a few draft picks. I would like to pick up Travis d'arnaud as my backup catcher. I have McCann but I have a couple of people interested in him and if D'arnaud works out I plan on moving McCann.

Whats the word on D'Arnaud? Is he going or Arencibia going to be moved soon?

He is waiting to see what the Jays decide to do.

You didn't say if this was a 2 catcher league.... it doesn't sound as though it is. With McCann as your primary even if D'Arnaud does make it up relatively soon I don't think he is going to out perform McCann the rest of the way.

I don't know the rest of your team, but I don't think D'Arnaud is going to be a keeper of yours either in a league that deep. My guess is you want to go with someone a little more 'guaranteed'.

I do like moving AJ for picks... so by all means do that. Grab D'Arnaud because he will make it sooner or later. Worse case scenario you have a huge prospect for a backup to McCann.
