I would do it. Addresses your power problem and Granderson will get 15 or so SB's and has been healthy for pretty much his whole career. I believe in Jennings but the knee injury has me a little concerned long-term. You already have 2 dominant closers and Dempster is good, but replaceable.
If all else fails, you can trade Granderson down the road for at least what it cost you to acquire him.

Not a strong preference for either, but I'd say Pettite. He seems like the safer option to me.
