Braun for Pence & Sale WHIR 100%--Thanks

Postby LittleTree » Mon Jun 04, 2012 12:25 pm

I posted a different trade offer earlier but I was just offered Ryan Braun for my Chris Sale, Hunter Pence, and Brett Lawrie. I would like to sell high on Sale because while I believe he will be good, I think I might be able to maximize my value for him right now. In addition, Pence has been great and Lawrie has been okay too but I still think this move is a win for me. I know Braun has been bothered by his achilles recently but I think Braun is elite. This is a non-keeper, head-to-head league and while I will be giving up some depth I believe my team will be better off because of this move. I believe I will still have enough depth in pitching to give up Sale. Is this move a win for me? Thanks for your help and I will return any help given. Thanks!C-A.J. Pierzynski

I would definitely take the deal. A bench player, a decent OF, and a decent SP for an absolute superstar? No brainer.

No brainer, I'd jump on it and get Braun. Sale is bound to have some issues as he gets into the higher IP anyway....

Help?

Absolutely take this. You're getting the best player in the deal by far, and not giving up too much. It's not every day that studs come along for this kind of trade value. Go for it!!

Definitely go for that! It's good to sell high on Sale, with you getting huge boost in the outfield.

Help on mine please? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=448290

You already have a very good OF and i dont kno why people think sale will drop off, he is a highly touted prospect and this is expected. Not like he is a nobody. Hunter Pence always esp in the second half is a beast and puts up good numbers AND Braun has been fighting injuries here and there all year id worry about one that finally lands him on the DL. For me it would all depend on what the other 2 pieces you got back in the deal or picked up in FA were.

Help out ?

DO IT NOW!
If you're getting the best player in the trade, you usually "win" the trade. Sale is clearly replaceable IMO.
