nah, I saw this on rotoworld.com about a week ago. The Mets would have to give up their best pitching prospect (can't think of his name of the top of my head), so it would benefit both teams. I personally don't see it happening though at the begining of the season. However, when the trading deadline comes around, I am sure this rumor will pop up again.
heres what it says...
Rangers Texas will be looking to acquire a young starting pitcher, like Scott Kazmir, who could become the team's ace of the future. Jose Reyes would be a cheaper alternative to play shortop. Kazmir would lose some value pitching in Texas, with Reyes gaining way more value hitting in Arlington.
Mets Desperate for another big bat, Soriano would most likely play outfield for the Mets. His value would take a bit of a dive hitting in pitcher-friendly Shea and returning to the New York spotlight. While the Mets don't want to move Kazmir, they don't want to give up on Reyes just yet either. If they are serious about acquiring Soriano, the Mets must part ways with one of their young stars.

This was a trade rumor that happened weeks ago.... The Rangers wanted Kazmir or Reyes but the Mets said Reyes Isnt leaving and the talks stopped......... Soriano is staying put until arbitration....

I heard that this deal was already a non-starter. The Rangers want Reyes and a pitching prospect and the Mets are unwilling to give Reyes up.
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
