CL Matt Capps (Cuz I'm overachieving)
SP Trevor Bauer (Arizona talk radio is begging for this guy to get called up, I'd love to hold on to him)

Adams or Bauer. Adams seems like the best option of the two to drop. No way can you drop Zobrist or Reed. Capps would be ok but I think he is more valuable than Adams.

Thanks. I see Zobrist as a fading keeper and Adams as a rising keeper. Hard to decided.

I guess I don't see Adams as a keeper or at least not yet. Still has a lot to prove before you should but that label on him.

If you don't like some of these guys I would look to deal them before just dropping them. Many owners will still see value here.

Tought part is with all those guys is other owners are prob not going to want to make a deal around any of them but would pick them up in a heartbeat. Try maybe for a deal where you package one or two with another player for a 2 for 1 and that extra spot opens up for Desmond.

Agreed. Someone will snatch Zobrist, Redd, Capps, and Adams off waivers quick, but wont trade for them. Maybe I dump Bauer and hope nobody has the roster space for an "NA"

Right now its gotta be Bauer...just pay attention if he gets called up and try to grab him again before someone else if you really like him.

Cuz right now he is just taking up roster space.

Ok here is my decision. I'm cutting Matt Adams. Seeing as Beltran stinks at CF virtually forcing Craig to play 1b and with Berkmans looming return at the break Adams, while a probable future slugger, still will return to AAA this season. So even though he will likely be grabbed up off waivers that owner should release him back into the wild when he becomes 'NA'.

I was leaning towards cutting Bauer until today's CBS and root world reporting his call up is "soon".

Honest to goodness before posting here I thought it would be Zobrist. I stinks so bad right now. But the combination of fantasycafes general optimism of him combined with him being my buddies cousin buys him some moe time.

Zorilla is streaky. You're gonna enjoy those hot streaks from a 2B spot though.

BTW - I would've thought that BJ Upton would fetch much more than Vogelsong. I'm ok with your rational for choosing to move him, but I would've aimed much higher.

I could have gotten more for Upton for sure. I was helping an 0-8 team get back on his feet and didn't think it hurt me very bad in the meantime. I got Upton for Werth when Werth was healthy and Upton was just activated and traded Corey Hart and Jarrod Parker for Jennings the day he got hurt. So My 4th OF spot has been healthy Werth, healthy Upton, and tomorrow healthy Jennings. I think I'm coming out ahead. We will see.
