Strasburg is the better SP, but only by a slim margin. I wouldn't have any problem making that deal.

I apologize for misreading your OP. I think I would make the deal if you feel like you are short on K's. However, your Sp is already very strong, and I feel more confident in Bumgarner's reliability than I do with Strasburg.

Tough call, but I think I would take a "why rock the boat" stance and stand pat.

I think if you're planning for the playoffs you stay with Bum, simply because of Stras' likely innings cap. If you want the stats until then, Stras all the way

Agree with the above. If you need to get into the playoffs, Stras. During the playoffs, Bumgarner. Of course, it is possible the Nats shut him down midseason to have him available fo the stretch run.

Bumgarner has found his K's and he never lost the rest of his game. He and Strasburg are very close and with the questions around Strasburg, I would rather have Bum.

I guess I'm in the majority here but I would take Strasburg. The team has addressed the potential innings limit by saying that nothing has been written in stone. I also have read that if the Nats are still in the hunt that they will not limit Strasburg any more than usual. To be honest, I actually traded Strasburg about a month ago because I believed the innings limit would be a big factor. Two days after the trade was completed, word started streaming out that the Nats would not shut Strasburg down if they were in contention. He is a top-5 pitcher I believe. I wish I would not have traded him. So bottom line, I would take Strasburg. Either way you're going to have a great pitcher though. Good luck! I hope this helps.
