For the last few days, I've been seeing many different threads in which people were discussing about the sleeper catchers. I personally am not sure of them and am eager to know more about them. Please analyze and rank the catchers so everybody can at least have an idea of who to go for. Thank you.

LeCroy- decent lineup, tons of power
Phillips- not much power, but his average will help. he'll get more AB's this year
Mauer- potential star, should at least hit for average this year
Molina- good lineup, most proven
Castro- some potential, but bad hitters park will hinder his power
Hall- still learning, lineup improving. had alot of hype coming up
Wilson- FA aquisitions will cost him AB's
Larue- Good hitters park, but he is so inconsistent
Myers- last year was a fluke IMO, he wont help Fantasy players this year
o yeah, there will definetly be another "sleeper catchers" thread tomorrow. people on this forum need to learn to use the search function

the rest aren't worth a roster spot as far as I'm concerned. Wilson is the safest of the bunch, but Castro and Mauer have huge potential. Hall is supposed to be a great hitter in the making, but I haven't seen enough for him to be even close to those expectations.

hope springs eternal in cleveland. not this year, but you are right, he should be on the list. id put him between wilson and larue on my list

Hope? Between Wilson and Larue? Boy, I wish there was a way to remember these statements in October.

when he proves that he is capable of getting more than 160 AB's he'll move up on my list. martinez has proven nothing. maybe you should look at the debate a little more rationally instead of being blinded by your fanhood. im not saying martinez doesnt have alot of potential, but ill take a guy who has proven he can hit 15-20 HR over someone who has yet to do a thing in the majors.
