Max Scherzer's May

A bit unlucky with the strand rate and HR's (8) so his ERA doesn't look spectacular, but the K:BB has dominating written all over it. I bought in on hm at the beginning of the month and haven't looked back. I can see him putting up huge win and SO numbers over the rest of the season. Anyone else buying in?

wow glad I saw this. i checked who owned him in both my leagues to see if i could work out a trade for him and to my astonishment i found that in one league he had been dropped several weeks ago and was still a FA!
granted, this league only allows SP pickups on sundays to prevent streaming, but still pretty shocking he was available.
the 51:8 K:BB is especially encouraging.

I drafted this guy, got his bad start to the season, dropped him in time for some good games, and then picked him back up for this stinker. Needless to say, he is back on waivers.

He is the anti Haren. He always starts the season pretty badly then does pretty well in the 2nd half.

I have an irrational belief that as soon as I traded for him he would get blown up for 8 ER in 2 innings. I'm not sure why I'm so biased against him, I used to be a huge fan when he first broke into the league with Arizona.
