WHIR: Tulo replacement FA help!

Postby coolarmadillo » Sat Jun 02, 2012 8:32 pm

Yeah, I'm stupid for not having a backup. Just had so many injuries everywhere else, it wasn't a priority for most of the season. 12 team, 6 x 6 (extra cats are holds and OPS), 27-man rosters, start a standard Yahoo starting lineup (one each on offense, one utility, some starters and releivers). So, here's what I'm looking at on the WW to fill the Tulo-shaped hole in my lineup:

Aybar
Cozart
Sean Rodriguez
Elliot Johnson
Josh Harrison
Everth Cabrera
Andrelton Simmons
Bloomquist
Yuniesky Betancourt
Descalso
Theriot

Hopefully, I'll only need the guy for a couple weeks, so I'm mainly interested in who is the best bet to produce for the next couple weeks. Long term, I would like someone eligible at other infield positions (again, because of all my injuries), but for now, I just need the guy that will hurt me least while Tulo is out. If he happens to be multi-position eligible, great. If not, I'll drop him for a multi-position guy when Tulo comes back. Please let me know your thoughts. Leave a link and I'll help with yours.

I would probably go with one of the first two, Aybar or Cozart. Maybe I take Aybar first but I don't love either. With this kind of thing it is more of a coin flip than anything and any production you get from them is just icing on the cake.

Sean Rodriguez. I actually like him the best of the bunch, and he is multi-position eligible.

I agree with the Sean-Rod.. I feel like he is solid value and with who your looking at.. I Don't like either of the two the other one you could look at is Brian Dozier, he isnt doing well right now but I feel like he has solid upside...

I like Sean Rodriguez too. Plus his eligibility at multiple positions is a nice bonus.

Help with mine? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=448165&p=3533159#p3533159
