I would try to deal Timmy and Harper for another solid bat. Harper has the name value and will help offset how bad Tim has been this season. It will take the right owner, but there's at least one in your league who will believe Lincecum is going to turn it around completely, and most owners will want to have Harper (even tho Trout is the better player) on their roster. Ideally I'd like to bring in a slugging first baseman, but it really depends on what you need.

Does your league have a transaction limit? If not, I'd also look to move one more SP possibly in a package with another hitter, to bring in one more "Star" hitter.

Too soon to tell. If this turns to a keeper league you certainly picked up really good talent.

I think Stanton will put perform Harper and Hosmer this year...but if they filled spots in need for you...then it is not a bad trade.

See I thought the same thing.. although Stanton is a better player I get a solid or better of'er a pitcher who CAN deal and a firstbasemen who CAN rake with the best of em... It may not work or be the best deal sense AJ Pirzinski to the giants via the twins...

I like the value you got for Stanton but why lincy? He's just all over the place,,,lots of risk. Tons of risk in hosmer also. Now your team is lacking exactly what you traded away,,,,a big power bat. Not saying it was a bad trade but the safer move was to keep Stanton. Hosmer and lincy could easily sink your team. Sometimes ya gotta gamble though, I get it...good luck. I'd look for a bat with power and maybe another closer (maybe marmol will get the job back)
