H2H standard points league

Team A Dan Haren , Brett Gardner* for
Team B Matt Garza, Vance Worley*, Jason Heyward
* currently on DL

Team A is the worst team in the league Dan Haren best starter on his current roster has neither bats or Sp's
Team B is in !st place heavy on bats and has good pitching

is this a fair trade? Do you think Dan Haren could have got him a better Sp or better bat then Heyward ?

Possibly he could have gotten more for Haren, but in fantasy baseball, "fair"= both teams thinking they're making their teams better.

I fail to see how their place in the standings is relevant unless you're saying team A is deliberately tanking, but the trade doesn't look that way to me.

I think Garza is highly rated (he is on the Yankees wish list).

Heyward is a young player with stud potential.

Two starts ago, Haren could have been bought on the cheap (I had an opportunity and I failed to pull the trigger). Who knows if his back issues will come back?

Depending on the depth of the league, I may take Garza/Heyward; he obviously could have gotten more for Haren if you would have given more, but that isn't the point. Is it fair? Absolutely.
