we've been over the DL thing countless time. Genie has also explained the DL thing countless times. in every case it ws the TEAM that hadnt officially filed the DL status, not a yahoo mistake. in any case a few hours lag time is nothing unexpected. it'll happen, just relax.
still no DL spot for Andy Dirks in yahoo. according to MLB.com Tigers page he is on the DL and Matt Young is on the active roster. ridiculous that Dirks is not yet on the yahoo DL. I didn't activate McCarthy yesterday, so he's still in a DL spot and I can't make any moves until Dirks goes in a DL spot so I can activate McCarthy. I was hoping to do that so I could add/drop someone for the short games tomorrow.

Again, as this has been discussed previously by the Genie, it may be on the Tigers' MLB page, as the Tigers may have announced that that is their intention (the Dirks for Young swap), but as per a conversation with Genie in March, even the Transactions page on MLB.com is not their 'official' source, whatever it is. The Tigers' site is just writers who work for the team (they post job openings all the time for all the teams), so whenever the move becomes official, it will be changed in Yahoo. FWIW, he was on the DL in ESPN's game this morning, though I have no idea what they use as their official source, etc.
here we are Monday morning the next day and Dirks with no DL. everything I read says Dirks is officially on the DL. I can't really buy that yahoo has to wait for 100% confirmation. I've seen multiple instances this season already where players were put on the DL with yahoo, but not even actually on the DL yet by their team. Ryan Doumit comes to mind when he got a DL with yahoo, but the Twins ended up not even putting him on the DL at all. maybe it will happen yet as the morning goes on, but this frustrating/aggravating waiting for something to happen that should have already happened.
I promise you, Yahoo will not be reliable with DL changes. You can either deal with it and stop complaining, or switch providers. Maybe try ESPN next year if it's that important to you.
