Offered Gio Gonzalez for Hosmer? WHIR

I originally offered Dunn and Jaime Garcia for Gio, but he countered with Gio Gonzalez for my Hosmer. Should I do this?

12 team h2h 5x5 keeper auction league. My pitching has been killing me.

Our keeper rules. Beside our starting and bench players (25 players), we have another 7 contract years we can add to the players salary within 2 weeks being drafted. Hosmer is under contract the NEXT year for $9. Gio would be for just this season.

3B- Lawrie- under contract next year for $1
SS- Andrus
MI- Peralta
CI- Encarnacion
OF (4)- A Gonzalez, Ichiro, Swisher, D Jennings (under contract for the next 2 years for $17
U- Dunn
Bench- Middlebrooks ( i still have a week to add years to his contract if I want)
Pitchers (start 9)- Lester, Holland, Garza, Dempster, Samardzia, D Hudson, Jim Johnson, Francisco, Frieri
bench- J Garcia, Oswald
DL- Lilly

That's tough man. I'd probably be willing to make the trade if I was desperate for pitching, which you said you are. Any possibility on trading Encarnacion for a pitcher instead?

I think I sit tight for bit. Hosmer is starting to show some sign of life and with a little confidence he may snap out of it soon. I think he still finishes with a good year making him a steal for you next year. I agree with the above poster, try to move Edwin who is a great sell high right now

I thought this team was solid to open the season, but somehow I am in last place. I guess I should think hard before I go trading away my keepers. But I coudl really use a soild pitcher.
