Ok before I go too far let me detail this league a bit


12 team roto basic 5x5 Keep 6 for as long as you want. League is 8 plus years old, I'm in my 5th year. (I have never finished higher than 6th.)


Rounds 1-6 in the draft are our keeper picks. So Round #7=Round#1.

My thoughts behind this deal are this, Heath Bell has got to get better, he is pitching way below normal as of right now. I am in 3rd to last in saves at this moment. If he can squeeze out anything like his old self he should be a big help in that area for me.

Tex is known to be a big time 2nd half hitter, (Except that year in Atlanta.) He is already starting to heat up, and should be able to finish as a top 30 player easily.

A.Jones, can he really keep this pace up? I just dont see him being a top 10 player come end of the year. I think he finishes strong. But I think Tex will end up with better numbers before the season is out.

I disagree about not getting anything comparative back. I think Tex is the best player in the deal from here on out.

However, I still probably wouldnt do the deal. I would much rather have Garza over Bell, and you can get probably A LOT more for Jones right now.

Zobrist over Francoeur really? Frenchy is getting hot and Zobrist is getting colder.

I don't know how much more I can truely get for A.Jones, these guys I play with are vets and most of us agree he is playing over his head. I think Tex will be a top player the rest of the year, june is when he gets hot.

Any more opinions?
