Who to drop??? This one's tough.

12 man H2H non keeper league:

My roster:

C: Mauer
1B: Tex
2B: M. Young
3B: Miguel Cabrera
SS: Jeter
OF: McCutchen
OF: Reddick
OF: Alfonso Soriano
Util: Luke Scott
Util: Goldschmidt
Bench: Allen Craig
DL: Desmond Jennings, Jacoby Ellsbury

For now I only need to drop 1 guy but when Ellsbury and Jennings come off the DL I'll need to drop more.

Allen Craig is coming off the DL today, who should I drop? Goldschmidt is the worst here in terms of 2012 stats, but I feel he has potential which is why I drafted him. I don't feel so comfortable dropping him. Do you guys think Alfonso Soriano is gonna have a bounceback year or will this die out? Luke Scott? Thoughts? And Josh Reddick...Will this ridiculous season out of nowhere come to an end? Can you guys also think of any good trades because these guys will probably get picked right up if I drop them. I need pitcher FYI.

Thanks a lot!
Mauer, A-Gonz, Pedroia, Miggy, E. Cabrera, Beltran, Morse, Holliday, Beltre, Gomez, Rizzo, Lawrie, Hanley

I'm a fan of last one in, first one out when the player was picked up solely because he was on a hot streak. Go ahead and drop Goldy.

The other guys, you're gonna want to make a trade to open a roster spot for those guys.

Mine?

Goldschimdt or Scott. I would go with Goldschmidt. I think he is still going to have some major bumps in the road. I doubt he gets picked up if you do drop him.

I understand the temptation to hold on to Goldschmidt....but I don't think you're going to regret it really. Craig and Reddick will help you cope with the loss. Scott will have enough hot streaks to make the "loss" easier as well. The only player that may end up seeming like a better drop by year's end is Soriano...and that's only if he gets hurt.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)

Alright well you all convinced me and I went ahead and dropped goldschmidt.

Jennings is due back early next week, who should I drop then? Or should I roll with 1 bench player? I hate doing that but I can't see dropping any of the other guys.

Get rid of Goldy, just doesn't look impressive this year.

Re-assess when the time comes. As of right now though I would say Scott and then Sori are your weakest players.
