Thoughts on trading Kemp in keeper league...

I am in a 14 team 5x5 roto keeper league (OBP instead of AVG) in which we keep 5 players. I currently sit in 2nd place and with Kemp's latest injury wondering if I should considering moving him to solidify my team and try to win this year.

The first offer I got was: Greinke, Cruz, Jansen for Kemp...is this enough?

My keeper options: Kemp, Upton, Trout, Kipnis, Napoli, Strasburg, A. Sanchez, Lincecum

That is a pretty decent haul for Kemp who is going to miss another month. Basically it comes down to are you winning the league now or more for the future. If you do the deal it hurts your keepers but I would have to think this would put you at the top to win it all this year. Hate to lose Kemp because it takes a bite out of your keepers but I think I might pull the trigger and worry about that later.

This will probably help you win this year, and IMO, will not hamstring your keepers too much.

You'll be upgrading from Anibal Sanchez to Greinke (a quality leap, I think) and replacing a stud OF with an injury prone stud.

If you make it, don't worry too much about your future.
