Trade for Lincecum?

He wants my Hunter Pence & Matt Latos for his Lincecum & David Murphy. I could drop Murphy when Michael Morse comes back. Part of the reason I'm thinking about trading is because I'm having a hard time deciding who to drop when Morse comes back, Luke Scott has been filling in admirably and I'd hate to put him on the waiver... This is a 16team Roto league.

I am not sure I would. This is a very tempting offer but I am more worried about Lincecum than I was two weeks ago. I thought we would start seeing some good signs but even his last start he walked 5. I would have no problem if you are confident that Lincecum will rebound even to a top 25 SP before the season is over but personally I don't think I would be looking to deal for him.

I would definitely hold on to your players in this deal. Lincecum is just a giant question mark this year (no pun intended).

I turned down a similar offer about a week ago (lincecum/m montero for my latos/wieters). I just don't trust Lincecum with his velocity/control issues this year.

I'd pass on the deal.

i just think the combo of pence and latos is over lincecum and murphy, murphy with that team who really noes how much hell play. im not a big fan of latos right now, his giving up way to many hrs and in cincy the ball flys. if you can give up less then pence or get better then murphy i like the deal better.

I actually just took a chance and bought low on him myself (Morneau + Fister for Lincecum + Morales). There is no chance that I am dealing Pence for him. That would've been a stretch in the pre-season, let alone at this point.
