Someone is willing to trade me Josh Johnson or Johan Santana for Bauer. Should I do it, and who should I choose? JJ or JS?

Not sure as to the setup of your league... If this is a keeper league and you're looking to compete, I'd do it for Johnson and hope for him to stay healthy. If this is a deep keeper league and you're looking to build for the future, hold onto Bauer. If its a one year league, trade for Johnson and, again, hope for the best. I don't think Bauer will be all that impactful this year. He's been walking more than his share of batters in the minors.

I wouldn't suggest keeping him in that format anyway, and as I said, I don't think he'll be all that effective this year anyhow. I'd say Josh Johnson, but pick whichever you think is the better of the two and make the deal.

Take Santana. Aside from a couple of bad starts, he's been great this year. Take the established over the potential.
