Give the guy a break, he is the all timw saves leader in Japan and he needs time to adjust to using Major League Balls. They are bigger than Japanese Baseballs so some of his pitches will be a little off for the short term. Why does everyone judge an entire players career on the strength of 6 weeks in Spring.? A-Rod and Nomo had pretty poor springs, they must be duds too then..and what about So Taguchi???? He is batting over 400 in spring training , quick quick, better make him a first rounder...maybe I could trade Vlad for him??

I live in Chicago. Marte will be the one who gets the stats this year.

I watched him pitch in ST and Bonds was quoted by one of the ESPN announcers saying that Takatsu had the best slider he'd ever seen.
