Which two should I start today?


David Ortiz vs Justin Verlander 6 - 21 2 HR 3 RBI 3 BB 7 K .286 AVG .375 OBP

Shane Victorino vs Jeremy Hefner never seen him but Hefner is 0-2 with a 6.17 ERA, his last outing he gave up 6 ER's to SDG

Bryce Harper vs Anibal Sanchez never seen him but 12 hits in his current 7 game hitting streak

Dayan Viciedo vs James Shields never seen him but seven homers and seven multi-hit games in his last 13 games



Normally I never bench my studs, but this is a rare case since Ortiz is facing one of the best, if not the best pitcher in the game today. And Victorino has been pretty cold lately. Plus Harper and Viciedo are both hitting great.


So who do y'all think I should start today?

Thanks for mine. What categories do you need most right now? If SBs start Victorino and, say, Papi (best hitter, proven track record). Verlander is nasty but Papi has handled him FAIRLY well. Anibal is no slouch so Harper, hot as he's been, could be in trouble. I'd probably go Papi and Victorino regardless, but tough one.

Well the week just started so all the cats are still pretty open. But he had a GREAT day yesterday in power categories. So he has the early lead in HR's, RBI's, TB's, AVG, and OBP. We are real close in R's, and tied in SB's.

Thanks for the feedback on mine. I initially thought Victo and Harper, but as the above guy posted, Sanchez is a good pitcher. I would go Papi and Victo.

Call me crazy, but I say ride Harper while he's hot. I don't like anybody vs. Verlander, so I'm actually going to go with Harper/Shane, regardless of Papi's matchups vs. Verlander in the past.

It's difficult not to go with the hot hands of Viciedo, but I go with the experience of Ortiz/Victorino.

watched Harper at the Braves game over the weekend and he is crushing the ball right now.
