apparently Weaver is not on the DL, yet.
The Angels have asked reporters to ignore an announcement that Jered Weaver was placed on the DL.
Anaheim trainers are still evaluating Weaver, and the team's decision-makers are hopeful that he'll be able to remain off the shelf. There should be some sort of resolution by the end of the evening Tuesday.

now he's on the DL.
Angels placed RHP Jered Weaver on the 15-day disabled list with a lower back strain.
It appears to be official now after the Halos denied as much earlier in the day. Weaver will miss 2-3 starts due to inflammation near a disc, an injury that occurred in Monday's outing. Garrett Richards has been summoned from Triple-A and will occupy Weaver's spot in the rotation.

Matt Kemp is back.
I would wager that this reference will go over the heads of most, but I gotcha.

That song wasn't good when it was relevant.

Also nice to see that Brett Lawrie left his suck at home tonight and didn't bring it to the ballpark. Be nice if this were a more regular occurrence.

Mets delayed and I don't think they're going back out there tonight.
