So here's the situation... I have 4 starts today while my opponent has 0. I've locked down 4 hitting categories and this is how the pitching cats currently sit:
W - 4 to 6
SV - 0 to 3
K - 42 to 68
ERA - 4.26 to 4.52
WHIP - 1.18 to 1.38
I've got the lead in ERA and WHIP, and with 4 starts might be able to make a run at k's and w's. I could really use a big week as I've slid towards the bottom of the pack in recent weeks. I figure at worst I've got a 4-6 loss, which could swing to 8-2 if I can grab wins in k's. I think k's are a little far fetched, but here are my starts today:
Volquez @ NYM
Wainwright v. PHI
Floyd v. CLE
Milone v. NYY
A few scary starts in there, so I'm struggling on deciding whether or not to go for the big week or just sit tight with a 6-4 win. Any thoughts would be appreciated and WHIR.
