Wow, you were playing with some omperceptive managers. In the drafts I've done, I don't think I've seen him slip past round 6. Usually it's 4 or 5.

12th? Damn, I've been overpaying then. I took him in the 3rd in 10 and 12 team leagues. I've got him pegged to hit above .300 with RBIs well into triple digits and mid-30s homers. I love guys who'll hit for power with a high average.

He should get back to his old 2002 form. Remember that he was injured for the beginning of last season, and even after he came back, he still had a gimpy knee until well after the All Star Break.

Also, remember, that although he only had 4 SB's last year, all four of them were in September. That shows me he was finally back to form at the end of the season.

Now that he is truly settled in with his new team,i would expect Giles to have a fine year.

i dont see giles being a big SB threat this year, maybe 10 tops... 15 if he runs. i dont see 20-30 tho.

30-35/100-120? hitting anywhere from .280 to .320? something like that, he was a star in pittsburgh despite having his talent wasted on some forgettable pirates dynasties over there.

Do you know why Giles will kill??? I know he great and all, but it's the fact that he can take a walk. He was consistently among the OPS leaders on crappy Pitt teams. Now that the team that surrounds him more is actually a worthwhile team, you can expect him to get more rbis and score a hell of a lot more runs.
