5/26-5/28 Cheering, Venting and Happy Memorial Day Weekend

I hope you are enjoying the beautiful weather. Have fun with friends, family, grilling out, and of course some baseball ;-D

Ryan Dempster is victimized once again by 0 runs of support, and falls to 0-3 with a 2.14 ERA.

Pujols hit another homer, and is on a tear the last week or so. Hopefully you either stood pat, or were able to pick him up from impatient owners during his massive slump to start the year

Ryan Braun hushed the smattering of boos in Arizona by hitting what would be a two run homer to give the Crew all the runs they would need to win the game behind a great start by Gallardo, in the matchup of last year's NLDS game 1 and game 5

Brandon Morrow was looking forward to tomorrow after giving up 6 in last night's first inning to the Rangers

Today's starting pitcher matchups (not including the games underway at 2 CST):

Johan has looked vintage today, absolutely dominant. The Mets offense who most New Yorkers would never recognize on the street sans Wright gave him plenty of run support for once.

it is the Padres, who after all made Wainwright a must start this last week.

on a side note, good job again with these managers needing to get their closers work in non-save situations, Buddy boy Black, just toss Thayer out there for a nice 5 run inning, ruining a perfect start to his season, and making him unavailable now tomorrow in the chance they actually have a lead late

After Morrow blew up my ERA last night there's no reason not to throw Minor out there

He blew up my opponent's ERA, which had been something like .39 through three starts.

Gordon and Dyson just collided in the outfield and it was pretty nasty. Dyson just got pinch hit for. Wil Myers anyone?!?!

Peavy looked nasty through two innings. Then the wheels came off. UGH! Stras not fairing very well today either. After Lincecum last night this is the last thing that I needed. I still have Bills going tonight too. I'm doomed. I smell a fire sale in June.

JJ Hardy one of the underrated gems of this year - his 10th dinger today.

Great, now Boche has Brett Pill costing Madbum games at 1B instead of the outfield.

Seriously, how can a team that can't hit be so horrible defensively?
