I need to get more HR, RBI, and AVG from my 1B and 2B positions. Right now I have M.Young and Dan Uggla.... who both seem to be mired in slumps. I have LaRoche available and I have Omar Infante available....free agents. Infante is batting 90 points higher than Uggla with the same power numbers and Infante steal bases also..(4/5 last night, 2SB)..Uggla doesn't steal any bases....LaRoche is batting 30 points higher than M.Young with more HR and RBI. This seems like a no-brainer swap doesn't it??? Everyone says Young and Uggla are going to pull out of it and they keep going down. There's no hidden problems with Infante or LaRoche is there??? 6x6 Rotisserie League......I'd appreciate any feedback....thanks!!

I would want a better player than Young at 1b, but I do not think LaRoche is it. Has the Hosmer owner soured on him? Maybe take a shot at that and move Young to 2b (if he qualifies; at least look at 3b).
As for Uggla v. Infante in power, sure, they are equal, but I believe all six of Infante's HR came the first two weeks of the season. In fact, I would put his over/under for TOTAL HR this season at 9. Stick with Uggla over Infante, but see if you can flip Uggla for a 1b and move Young to a more valuable position.
Just sit tight. Those 2 are extremely reliable, top players. They are older, but they know how to get it done. Infante is a mirage, don't fall for it. LaRoche is a good ballplayer, but I would still take M. Young for the rest of the season in a heartbeat.
