I've never made one of these but I thought I'd give it a shot.

News, Notes, and Nonsense:

The San Francisco Giants had a whopping 15 hits and 14 runs to beat the Miami Marlins. Melky Cabrera went 3/5 with 4 RBIs. The only good thing Bochy has done was get this guy and Angel Pagan, who also threw in 4 RBIs on 2 hits. Giancarlo Stanton went 3/5 going yard once off Vogelsong, who had another quality start, yet is only owned by 54% of Yahoo. Seriously.

Even more impressive, the San Diego Padres scored 11 runs on 18 hits.

Verlander held the Indians to 2 runs over 8 but couldn't get the run support to notch a win.

Logan Ondrusek was called on for the save, but only because Aroldis had pitched the previous two days.

Justin Morneau had 2 bombs, doing his best Allen Craig imitation before he hits the DL again. Konerko responded with a homerun of his own and De Aza hit a grand slam.

Phil Humber couldn't get through 5 innings going 4.1 marked for 5 earned runs.

Carlos Beltran continues to be red hot.

Pujols hit a bomb with Trout on base, Trout has proven that he doesn't need Pujols to hit but Pujols may be liking Trout.

I traded Josh Johnson for Tim Lincecum in one league and today we are H2H with opposing pitchers facing each other. I'm down a win so Timmy winning would be huge. Other than that I have Morrow and he's mad about getting 5ER added to his ERA the other day and is going to K 17 tonight on two hits.

Ooh almost missed Kershaw at the end there. Got him on a few teams I'm tanking BA in.

Trotting Holland and Hudson today, desperate for 2 QS and 2 Ws, cause my opponent's team is just going off this week, and I'm trailing. He has 3 starts left, I have 5, so a lot of baseball left to be played.

Starting him with zero confidence. Toronto hits home runs and Holland likes to give'em up, and Morrow doesn't give up many runs. Im just rooting for some good K numbers.
