Postby dopkin » Fri May 25, 2012 3:37 am

Which would you rather have rest of year?

WHY? The why is more important.

Thanks, drop a link.

Lawrie I think will put up better numbers at a weaker position.

Cuddyer is a little more value than normal in a daily league with good benches (start him at home, baby). He also qualifies at 2 positions (1b and of).

All else being equal, I take Lawrie, but it all depends on team needs.

In Yahoo, where Cuddy is eligible at 2B I'd go with him due to the versatility.Without that I'd probably go with Lawrie for the upside.
Lawries intensity scares me though,I said that before the umpire-batting helmet thing.I'd always be waiting to hear he ran into a wall or punched an inanimate object and broke his hand or chewed on a beer bottle and cut his lips off.

Lawrie is frigid right now, and doesn't really have a track record to fall back on. Sure he has talent, but it doesn't always equal immediate success. Cuddyer has a good record of success and hits in a great park in a great lineup, lessening the problem and likelihood of a slump. I would rather take Cuddyer with his experience and position eligibility for the rest of the year.
