I have Elliot Johnson at SS now, but free agents are: Kyle Seager, Jed Lowrie, Alcides Escobar, Yunel Escobar, Bloomquist, Sean Rodriguez, Josh Harrison, Tyler Greene.
Drop Alexei and add one of these guys? Drop Alexei and add another position player? Keep Alexei?

I really like these guys above, but I wouldn't drop A-Ram for them....yet. I agree with another poster here that you should shop a package deal up and see what you get. Try A-Ram and Zobrist package to improve SS. Once you make your 2-1 deal, then scoop up one of these guys. Tyler Green will rake and hitting in Stl lineup right now is a HUGE plus!
Tyler Greene sucks, people in St. Louis hate him, and he doesn't have a regular job, don't even think about him.
I would drop Alexei for Lowrie and not think twice about it. Alexei just doesn't have it, and it's only holding you back waiting for him to turn it around.
I agree with the above poster. I'm from St. Louis and I don't trust Tyler Greene, plus he's not the everyday 2B yet and hes more and more just looking like a really good AAA player. I would try and package A-Ram and Zobrist as well to someone who needs a 2B since you already have Kinsler. Or you could think about selling high on Beltran right now if you think hes injury prone. That could get you a top tier SS.
I drafted and dropped Alexei for Lowrie in about week 3 or 4.No regrets except for a short cold streak. One pick before Alexei I took Bonifacio and with yesterdays news of his surgery picked up Bloomquist to ride his hot streak until he cools off,Drew(on DL,picked up off waivers and stashed) comes back or Bonafacio comes back. I'm comfortable with Lowrie and Bloomquist in the short term. If you can make a trade to upgrade later Lowrie still makes a great bench guy if you can find room.Bloomquist will always be streaky and the playing time will vary according to injuries to other guys.Lowrie will start every day he can walk or crawl.
