Def. grab Valverde, then maybe Ryan Wagner. Otherwise I wouldn't bother with any of those starters unless you're in a big league

we have a 14 team league, I dunno if that's "big" or not but compared to other leagues, our WW seems pretty damn shitty

a lot of you guys seem real high on Valverde, what exactly is the status of Matt Mantei, is he for sure injured or what? i heard he has some fingernail problem or something

Lee is definitely worth grabbing. Ramirez and Carpenter would be the only other guys I would make an effort to pick up.

I just saw I also missed Kurt Ainsworth on that list also, what kind of things are people expecting out of him this year?

it's speculation that Arizona is trying to unload Mantei and his salary.

Dude, even if Valverde doesn't close check out his stats:
12.75 K/9IP
0.99 WHIP
2.15 ERA

at the very least he's coming into the season as the cream of the crop in middle relievers in my book

ok thanks, I'm still torn between Benson, Ainsworth, and Lee (who knows, maybe Ramirez also). Ainsworth will have the best offense behind him but how much does that factor in?

I rate Ainsworth highly but would like him to get more starts under his belt before I would grab him, unless you have spare bench spots.
