Nope. I like Samardzija. I think he will be a solid SP going forward and you have to love his matchup coming up against San Diego. I don't care for any of the hitters you mentioned but maybe I would drop Stubbs for Bass or Pettitte. That is assuming you are ok not having a bench bat but I figure you can always drop a pitcher if you need to make a move because of an injury when you have to.

Keep him for now. If you can pick up Bass by dropping someone else, I would do that. But you're not benefitting any by dropping him for any one of the FAs on the wire.

Stick with Samardzija, especially in a shallow league given those available options.

Agreed, this seems like making a move just to shake things up, but all it's going to do is make your team worse. Stick with Jeff.
