5x5 roto keeper with contracts, im doing pretty bad

harpers salary would be 11 next year, 13 the next, then he goes back into the pool
brett myers salary would be 8 next year(wouldnt keep)

eithiers salary would be 18 next year(wouldnt keep)
gallardos salary would be 23 next year(wouldnt keep)

my keepers as of now for next year probably(can keep 4-8 players)
braun, fielder, ellsbury, ackley, harper, bud norris(maybe)

I don't play in keeper leagues, but I always thought if you were doing badly in a given year that it wasn't considered wise to trade away keepers for one year rentals as you try to build for future seasons so I personally would not do it without even considering the value of the guys involved.

Dang that sucks you can't keep Harper past 2 years that's when he'll be top value. Bummer! Eh this is a meh deal I'd stay put.

No reason to do this deal unless you think this trade will give you a chance to win. Even though Harper can only be kept for 2 more years, I think it should give him pretty good value. He is playing better than I expected which bodes well for the next couple years. I would only deal him if you can get a keeper in return.
