RP J.J. Putz

Check the waiver wire and look to make deals for your big names to fill some holes. By this, I'm looking at Andrus; he's a star and you could probably get a solid ss and a solid arm in return. Good SS's also seem to find their way onto the wire (Ian Desmond types). So look to up your 2b and 3b with power guys and then your good. JJ Putz is also useless on your bench, if you can start him everyday then do it, if not, then shop him as well... his name alone still worth something.

thanks guys ... you made a good point but does anyone think i can b sucessful if i hold on to cain? it seems to me like my offense is too cramped and my pitching needs more depth.. my second best SP is Garcia so i was thinking maybe trading K. Johnson and Pena for a decent pitcher like latos but does that sound crazy?

Idk I might try and keep andrus and try and deal Bautista instead. I'd look for a big infielder and ace type pitcher. I don't care if lowe has won a few games,,,I'd drop him. He is a contact pitcher and will burn you eventually. Zito I'd only start in a great matchup. Both of these guys could be dropped.

Oh ya. I would shop him around,,,ask too much from several different people. See what you get from counters. Bautista is heating up a little so perfect time to do it.

I just had matt cain traded in my league for han ram and brandon phillips so if that helps you set a value on him. He is a great pitcher and worthy of some upper tier players
