I might have been crazy, but I had Votto ranked ahead of Pujols at the start of the season (both behind Miggy and AGon - I really like AGon) at 1b. Nothing has changed my opinion, except maybe to move Pujols down and Votto up (ahead of AGon, possibly) and moving Miggy to 3b (more valuable). In other words, Votto is better than Pujols, and that gap got wider. Pay for the stats, not the name. Pujols last year and even a little the year before is not the same Pujols - still a superstar, but not the UNDISPUTED BEST PLAYER IN THE GAME.
As another psoter said, don't weaken yourself by trading one of the two best players at two weak positions for one of the top (but not the top 2 1b) and one of the top (but not the top of the list) SP.
I wouldn't. Votto is being Votto this year, and Pujols is being sub-Pujols. When they are both being who they are, Votto and Pujols are very similar. Might as well go with the guy that is showing more life.
